Saxophone Reviews - Yamaha YAS-61

This was a big jump for me at the time after playing for 2 or 3 years on an unknown east german alto. Once I got used to it, I appreciated its light and fast keywork. I found it easy to go from low Bb to top F# and stay in tune. It has kept its appearance well and I still enjoy playing it.

It needs a some work on it now i.e. new pads, but that is to be expected. It is till perfectly playable however. I doubt that I would part with it whilst I am still able to play it.
