Sax Solo
A page with two sax solo songs from Sade. Taken from the Diamond Life L.P. released in 1984, both were big hits and launched Sade onto front stage at the time. I think Smooth Operator was her first release which was then followed by Your Love Is King, but i'm happy to be corrected if this is wrong Smooth Operator - Tenor Sax by Stuart Matthewman The video is the extended mix running at over 8 minutes. I have to say that the somewhat 'ham' acting at the start is more than compensated for by the sax playing.
Your Love Is King - Tenor Sax by Stuart Matthewman A wondeful start with the sax sets the whole tone of the record. Another favourite tune of mine although slightly tainted when a friend listened to it and asked "Why does she love his ring?" Bloomin amateurs! Sadly the video seems to run like a memorial service so just to assure you all, Sade is still alive and well and singing.
