Yanagisawa have been around since 1896.

They made their first tenor saxophone in 1954. The T3 tenor saxophone was followed in 1956 by the A3 alto saxophone.

Since then their range of japanese instruments has expanded considerably. If you take into account that they make saxophones in brass, solid silver and phosphor bronze, then take into fact you can buy necks made of different materials the possibilities are endless.
